Last year, I fulfilled a lifelong dream: owning my ultimate car, a Mercedes G Wagon. I could write volumes about how much I love him, but suffice it to say, he’s become my muse. I began envisioning him in unexpected and fantastical settings—places he’d never go under my care (Hawaii, for example).
This sparked the idea for my series, Cars in Nature. Each piece juxtaposes a luxury vehicle with dreamlike or unexpected landscapes, blending the sleek, metallic lines of these iconic machines with the organic vibrancy of nature. The result is a celebration of contrasts—man-made precision meets the raw beauty of the natural world.
And for the record, this series proudly excludes Teslas, Priuses, and PT Cruisers.

The vibrant, almost electric colors of Fauvist paintings have always captivated me, and that energy serves as the foundation for my "Fauvist Flowers" series. Drawing inspiration from my surroundings—both literally and figuratively—each piece in this series originates from the beauty of my own yard.
What fascinates me most is how light interacts with these natural forms. Combined with bold, expressive underpainting, this interplay and pulsing of colors creates almost an optical illusion if you stare at it long enough.
